COVID-19 Update

April 2022

Case numbers in NSW are currently very high.

It is important to continue to maintain good public health measures such as hand washing and the wearing of a face mask when out in public and observing social distancing.

It is important also for patients taking immunosuppressant medication to have received their full primary covid-19 vaccination (two doses followed by a third primary dose) as well as a booster dose at least 4 months after their last primary vaccination dose. The booster timing may be reduced to 3 months - awaiting further advice by ATAGI.
